Linux System Services
Stop not need System Service
When your system booted, it will call base services from general installation for working. But some services not need for your working and it is unsecurity. So, you need to stop that services for your system secure. You can use setup command at root looged in as below :
[root@test root]#setup
[root@test root]#
You will see screen as below :

In linux Redhat You can use command #ntsysv
Next step select the System Services tab and press Enter you can see your system services follow screen as below :

Ok, this step you can unselect services if you think you not need that services by up and down arrow scroll for select service and press space bar for disable ( * before service name it mean that service is working at boot time, if not have * before service it mean that service not call at boot time).
Next , you need to reboot system for refresh service up at boot time.
